Billy Glen Morrison, 65, passed away on February 16, 2026 in Fort Worth, Texas

Born on May 23, 1960, in Fort Worth, Billy was a proud Texan whose life was defined by hard work, devotion to family, and a generous spirit. He later met the love of his life, Denice, in Florida, and together they built a life rooted in love and commitment. Billy spent ten years living in Oklahoma before returning to Texas, where he continued to pour his heart into his work and his land.

A skilled contractor, Billy owned and operated his own HVAC company. He was known for his strong work ethic, determination, and the pride he took in providing for his family. Billy was never one to shy away from hard work-whether on the job or working the very land where he will now be laid to rest.

Billy had a deep love for the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, listening to music, gardening, and spending time working the land. Some of his greatest joys came from time spent with his grandchildren-especially trips to the zoo and sharing the simple pleasures of life. He had a big heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Denice Ann Morrison; sons, BJ Morrison and wife Jill, and Christopher Morrison and wife Jessica; his cherished grandchildren, Shawn Morrison and Ariel Morrison; mother, Carlene Morrison; siblings, Joyce Lambert and husband Chris, Debbie Edmonds and husband Billy, and Carolyn Morrison; nieces and nephews, Misty Morrison, Kimmy Gorder, Shannon Edmonds, Christopher Lambert, and Brandon Lambert.

Billy was preceded in death by his father, Billy James Morrison; his stepfather, Charles Shackelford; and his nephews, Michael Gorder and Shawn Morrison.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Morrison Family Cemetery in Corsicana, Texas.

Billy will be remembered for his strength, kindness, unwavering love for his family, and the legacy he leaves behind in the lives he touched. His memory will live on in the land he worked, the family he cherished, and the countless people he helped along the way.
