Billy Edd Peterson, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on May 5, 2025, in Cleburne, Texas. Born on May 1, 1934, in Belott, Texas, Billy lived a life marked by compassion, loyalty, and a strong dedication to his family and friends.

Billy was a devoted family man who cherished his wife, Barbara Peterson, tending to their relationship with love and support throughout their years together. He was also a proud father to his children, Teresa Campbell and her husband Russell, and Brian Peterson and his wife Ivy. His warmth and guidance extended to his grandchildren, Courtney and Jared Campbell, with whom he shared innumerable joyful moments, and to his grandpups, Pickles and Belle, who brightened his days.

Known for his punctuality and organizational skills, Billy approached life with a sense of order that reflected his dependable nature. He was an honest and straight talker, traits that endeared him to many and made him a respected member of his community. His capacity for compassion and care defined his relationships, ensuring that he always provided unwavering support to those he loved.

Billy now joins his parents and sister, Betty Sheffield, in eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of love, integrity, and memories that will be cherished by his surviving family and friends. The family welcomes those who knew Billy to join them in honoring his memory and the significant impact he had on so many lives.
