Billy Joe Rippy was born on May 14, 1962 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late Jimmy James and Mary Lois Pipes Rippy.
On March 19, 1992, he was united in marriage to Frieda Jean Qualls Rippy, who survives.
Billy retired from Hardin Medical Center Maintenance Department. He was a member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church. Billy was a faithful and loving husband, father, and brother.
Billy Joe Rippy departed this life on July 14, 2024 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 62 years and 2 months.
He is survived by his wife, Frieda Rippy; sons, Nathan Lee Brumley and Matthew Adam Brumley; sisters, Dorothy Nell DeShazier, Doris Jane Plunk, Betty Diane Tarkington, and Linda Jean Eliff; brothers in law, James C. DeShazier, and Ronnie Plunk; and grandchildren, Emily Nicole Brumley, Daniel Kyle Brumley, Nova Lynn Brumley, and Ryan Douglas Banks.
In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Lynn Rippy and brother in law, Roger Dale Eliff.
