Billy D. Skaggs (Willie), age 90, a cherished husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away February 22, 2026 at the Medical Center in Scottsville, Kentucky.
Born on March 12, 1935, in Scottsville, KY he was the son of the late Forrest Duell Skaggs and Grace Baines Pulliam Skaggs. Also preceding him in death were his two sisters, Peggy Taylor and Sue Williams.
Willie graduated from Scottville High in 1953, a true Pointer he continued his basketball career playing for Campbellsville University. His spirit of service led him to enlist in the Army Reserves, with activation at Fort Chaffee, Arkansas.
Willie enjoyed a fulfilling career at GE, where he worked in maintenance until he retired. His life was complemented by commitment to his family and hobbies, included farming with his cows, spending time outdoors and a love for animals, none more loved than his grand dog Princess that parted this life before him.
