Billy R. Stone Jr.

Billy R. Stone, Jr., of Lexington, KY passed away on March 27, 2026. He was born to Billy and Jenny Stone on July 16, 1963, of Olive Hill, KY. He spent the majority of his career as a machinist at the Herald Leader and loved working on anything with a motor.

Billy was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his friends, family, and neighbors. Billy was preceded in death by both of his parents. He leaves behind his loving wife, Sharon (Chaney); a daughter, Ashley (Chris) Caudill; and two grandchildren, Jamison and Everleigh; a brother, Tony Stone; and a sister, Stephanie Stone.

Celebration of Life will be held on April 12 at Jacobsen Park from Noon to 4PM. Shelter #2 (near the playground)
