Billy Wayne Wesley, 83, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025.
Billy was born on February 12, 1942 in Paint Lick, Kentucky to the late Ezra "Duck" and Irene Wesley. After graduating from high school, he worked at Sun Chemical in Cincinnati until retiring in 2007. He was a devoted family man who loved horseback riding and being on a tractor. Bill enjoyed watching the Reds, Bengals, and UK Wildcats, as well as vacationing in Pigeon Forge. He had been a Mason for 50 years.
Billy is survived by his sons, Russ & (Brenda) Wesley of Science Hill, and Rick & (Mary) Wesley of Walton, KY; grandchildren, Tyler & (Kendall) Wesley, Morgan Wesley, Kelly Rose, Maranda Dawson, Tabitha & (Jeff) Crispin, Charlie & (Elizabeth) Thomas and Russell & (Sarah) Thomas; and fourteen great-grandchildren. In addition, he is survived by an aunt, Jo Ann & (John) Vaught, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Along with his parents, Billy was preceded in death by Jeannette, his beloved wife of 58 years.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday, June 2, 2025 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Woodcock officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends after 11 AM Monday, June 2, 2025 until time for services.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to God's Food Pantry or Shriner's Children's Hospital.
