Binh Cam Luu

Binh Cam Luu passed away peacefully on November 17, 2024, in Largo, Florida. Born on April 10, 1942, in Soc Trang, Vietnam, Binh's life was a journey of compassion, resilience, and love that spanned across continents. Binh's early life in Vietnam set the stage for her lifelong commitment to caring for others. She earned her nursing degree and dedicated many years to the profession before immigrating to the United States in 1981. Once in the U.S., she continued her passion for healthcare by becoming a certified nursing assistant.
Binh is survived by her only daughter, Margaret, Timothy (son in-law)Nguyen; grandsons, Ben and Peter Nguyen; stepchildren, Thuy Van Nguyen, Thuy Anh Nguyen, Thuy Hang Nguyen, Trung Hieu Nguyen; and eight step-grandchildren. Her legacy also lives on through her surviving sibling, Luu Tan Phuoc. Binh was preceded in death by six siblings, whose memories she cherished deeply.
A devout Buddhist, Binh embraced her faith with a Buddhist given name, Dieu Minh. She attended the Buddhist temple with her daughter when she was able. Binh's interests extended to gardening and spending precious moments with her grandchildren. Her love for dogs reflected her kind and generous spirit.
Binh's life was a testament to happiness, love, kindness, and generosity. Those who knew her will remember her ever-present smile and Her positive impact on the world will continue to be felt by those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
