It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Blake Michael Dre Helton, who left us too soon on December 6, 2025 at the tender age of 20. Born on October 5, 2005 in Fairfield, Ohio, Blake was a vibrant spirit who brought joy to all who had the privilege of knowing him. A beloved son, brother, and friend, he lived in Amelia, Ohio where his laughter and positivity lit up the lives of those around him.

Blake was known for his contagious, goofy personality and zest for life. He had a simplistic appreciation for the world and was grateful for every moment. "No Music, No Life" he would often say, as he embraced the rhythm of each day with enthusiasm. His love for music was matched only by his passion for fishing, with every trip out on the water becoming a cherished adventure. Blake's love for water extended beyond fishing-he found true peace and happiness when swimming, boating, or just being in or near any body of water. It was his element, and those who knew him best often remarked that he seemed most at home when surrounded by the soothing embrace of lakes and rivers.

Sports played a central role in Blake's life. For eight years he poured his heart into youth football, forming lasting friendships and learning lessons about teamwork, perseverance, and leadership that shaped his character. His dedication to the game was evident at every practice and every game, as he gave his all for his teammates and coaches. Beyond football, Blake had a genuine love for all sports-whether playing, watching, or cheering on his friends, he relished the excitement of competition and the camaraderie that came with it.

Blake also had a deep love for bikes, both street bikes and Harleys. The thrill and freedom he felt while riding was unmatched, and he cherished every chance to hit the open road, feeling the wind and the sense of adventure that came with it.

He loved gathering family and friends for grill outs, often spending warm evenings cooking together and sharing laughter. Blake's enthusiasm for outdoor games was infectious. He delighted in playing disc golf, Kan Jam, and cornhole while camping or just hanging out in the backyard. Whenever he was camping, Blake always found a way to play basketball and football, turning any open space into a makeshift court or field. These moments, filled with friendly competition and joy, were among his favorites, creating lasting memories for everyone who joined in.

Blake shared a special bond with his dog, Roxy. She was his world, and the love and companionship they shared brought him immeasurable happiness. Roxy was always by his side, and their connection was a testament to Blake's big heart and unwavering loyalty.

Though Blake faced the challenges of epilepsy, he was not defined by it. His resilience shone through, making him an inspiration to his friends and family. They often turned to him for guidance and support, feeling a deep trust in his wisdom that belied his years. To his siblings he was a source of strength, someone they relied upon in moments of uncertainty, and the love he had for his brothers and sisters was truly untouchable-an unbreakable bond that will last forever.

Blake deeply connected with others, often brightening the day of those around him with his bright smile and kind heart. His joyful demeanor and incredible spirit impacted many lives, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness.

He is survived by his father Hartzell "Tre" Helton (Gloria), mother Amber Wagers (Daniel), siblings Tre Helton, Landon Young, Riley Young, Kyngston Helton, Corbin Frankenfield, Madilyn Frankenfield, and Thea Wagers, grandmother Tammie (Greg) Harvey, uncles Michael Tackett and Teddy Wagers, many cousins, and too many "best" friends to name, who will carry on Blake's memory with love and reverence. Blake was truly a wonderful soul who touched hearts in so many ways, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him. Blake was preceded in death by his grandparents Elaine and Elijah Tackett, Lana Tackett, and Nelson Wagers.

Family and friends are invited to gather together to honor and remember this remarkable young man on Friday, December 19, 2025 at the Eastside Christian Church, 5874 Montclair Blvd, Milford, Ohio, from 4-7 PM. A service to honor Blake will be held at the church on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place in Greenlawn Cemetery, Milford. We invite those who attend to share songs, stories, and laughter as we reflect on his joyful presence and the legacy of love he leaves behind.

Forever remembered, forever missed. Hold on to those special times and memories of Blake, and remember those signature "Love Ya" moments he was always quick to share.
