Recker, Mark Alan of Pleasant Plain, OH, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband to Michelle Recker, 35 years. Loving father of Joshua and Lyra Recker. He was born to the late Thomas and Florence Recker as the youngest of 6 boys. He was raised by the late Geraldine Recker from age 12 upon his mother's death.

Preceded in death by his brothers Michael Recker and Patrick Recker Sr. Faithful brother to Gerald "Jerry" (Cathy) Recker, Thomas Recker Jr., and Scott (Paula) Recker; Stepbrothers Steven Pfau, Don Pfau and Martin Pfau, and stepsister Sue Boucher. Survived by uncles Timothy (Sonia) Shively, Dr. and Mrs. Raymond (Rosemary) Shively, and aunt Carol (Dr. Jan) Kronmiller. Survived by many cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Mark was a graduate of Moeller and held a certificate at Ohio Diesel Tech. His main profession was field service technician for generators, where he bonded with many coworkers at Cummins and Caterpillar. He also was a butcher by trade at the family business Tom's Choice Meats. He worked as a kitchen trainer and also was a hay farmer on the property he owned.

Mark chose to spend his leisure time with his family on his pontoon boat fishing at Laurel River Lake but also with his friends: Bret, Rog, Mills, Nols, Colonel, Brian, Marvin, Paul J., Trevor and Terry S. With deepest gratitude to friends and close neighbors Bill Dego, Mr. Burns, Bill Gray, Vern S., Adam H., Schoellman brothers, Mr. Tino, Chuck and Sharon, who all have been very supportive through the years.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home - Milford. A memorial service will begin at 12:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations to be sent to Joshua's Place, P.O. Box 68, South Lebanon, OH 45065. Joshua is a literacy tutoring program and food co-op pantry.
