HUDDLESTON, Mr. Blake C. - Age 34, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024, at McLaren-Flint. Family hour 10:30 AM Wednesday February 7, 2024, at Church Without Walls Ministries, 6202 Dupont St., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM, Pastor Martez Warren, officiating. Interment Crestwood
Memorial Cemetery., 2020 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Church 10:30 AM Wednesday. Mr. Huddleston will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. and may be viewed from 12:00 PM-6:00 PM Tuesday. Mr. Blake Christian Huddleston was born August 12, 1989 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Cameo Short and Lavonna Lynn Huddleston. Blake enjoyed watching TV, playing basketball, working on cars, dogs & cats, and children. He was also an animal lover. Blake was a member of Church Without Walls and under the leadership of Pastor Martez Warren. He enjoyed life and was liked by many.
Mr. Blake Christian Huddleston leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Kathalya Williams; 2 aunts, Tracy Taylor of Detroit, MI and Treba Daniels of North Carolina; uncle, Michael of Maryland; a host of cousins including, Cecil and Chandler, bothy of North Carolina, Ebony of Flint, Cleone, Jazzman, both of Detroit, MI, Whitney of North Carolina and Corey and Casey, both of Flint; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Brianna Nelson, Sasha, Quentin, Alshawn and the Ruth Avenue friends, Brenda Green and family, Pauletta Roland and family.
Mr. Huddleston was preceded in death by his parents, Cameo Short and Lavonna Lynn Huddleston; grandmother, Bessie Short; grandfather, Leevoyn Huddleston.
