We love you forever and will cherish our memories endlessly.
Blake Anthony Sumego, age 18, of Tallmadge was born March 20, 2006 in Cuyahoga Falls. Blake was an avid hunter and fisherman, finding peace and joy in the great outdoors. His love for 4-wheeling with his dad, uncles and best friends since he was able to walk showcased his adventurous spirit and mechanical talents, we have loved watching Blake grow up working in the garage, tinkering on everything with his guys. A dedicated athlete, Blake played varsity football for Field High School, where he was admired by teammates, coaches and fans alike waiting to see every tackle and play he made on the field and hearing him cheer on his teammates. His genuine love for kids and infectious smile and enthusiasm for life that touched everyone he met. Blake will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who met him.
He is survived by his loving mother Desiree Darago(Richard); father Patrick Sumego Jr.; siblings Kassidy (Isaac), Shyanne, Devin, Draiden; grandparents Winnie Darago, Patrick Sr. and Tammy Sumego; aunts and uncles including uncle Brandon, Joyce (Corey), Darryl, Marnie (Rick); girlfriend Maddie; many cousins and close friends.
Visitation will be Thursday October 10th from 9 AM- 11 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 11 AM in the funeral home with Jed Hill officiating. He will be laid to rest in Grandview Memorial Park next to his uncle Rhett Darago. After burial, a celebration of life reception with refreshments will be at Wingfoot Lake Park in Suffield.
