Blanche Bowyer Obituary

BLANCHE ROSE BOWYER
August 12, 1939 ˜ October 1, 2023

We are sad to announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and friend.
Blanche passed away peacefully with her husband Bob by her side on the morning of Oct. 1, 2023.
Blanche was born on a small family farm in Mahnomen, MN. In 1967, she headed west and landed in Vancouver, WA. Shortly thereafter, she started a career in Food Service at the Veterans Administration and served 27 years until retirement in 1994.
Blanche loved gardening, trying new things, going places, visiting with family and neighbors and spending weekends with Bob and their ’Get Along Gang’ at car shows and events near and far with the latest street rod they had in their garage.
She was a wonderful wife and mother who made life special and was always there when we needed her.
She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. She is survived by her devoted husband, Bob; her loving children and spouses, Suzie Baese (Keith), Chris Bowyer, Linda Poer, Shannon Poer (Penny), Dennis Poer (Grace), Dwayne Bowyer and Michelle Rohrbach (Michael); and amazing ten grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
There will be no services at this time. Remembrances can be made with a charity of choice or plant a tree or rose bush in her honor.
