Spanish Fork - Blanche "Blondie" Haycock Foote, age 97, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025, in Spanish Fork, Utah. Born on November 18, 1927, in Kanab, Utah, to Melvin Swapp Haycock and Louise Hamblin, she lived a long and fulfilling life devoted to her faith, family, and the simple joys that brought her happiness.

A lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Blanche found deep joy in serving others and especially loved working with children in Primary by creating a nurturing environment where testimonies were built. She also served in Relief Society and was a dedicated visiting teacher by being a friend and showing her love to those she visited. Her devotion to her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. She and her beloved husband, Warren C. Foote, were sealed in the St. George Utah Temple, December 12, 1949 and later served together as missionaries in the San Fernando Philippines Mission from 1996 to 1998-a cherished chapter in their shared journey.

Blanche was a woman of many talents and passions. She had a deep love for animals and children and found great satisfaction in nurturing both. Her hands were rarely still-she was an accomplished seamstress who enjoyed sewing and embroidery, often creating beautiful, matching dresses for her young daughters that reflected her care and creativity. Her kitchen was a place of warmth where she expressed love through cooking for those around her.

Music filled Blanche's home and heart; she found joy in melodies that lifted the spirit. A lover of nature, she delighted in walking outdoors and tending to her garden, where she cultivated not only flowers but also peace and reflection. She was cheerful and had a unique sense of humor making everyday situations enjoyable. Children and grandchildren enjoyed playing games, making late-night fudge and laughing together. Reading and sketching were other treasured pastimes that enriched her days.

She was a full-time homemaker and cherished her role in her family. She was a devoted wife to Warren, supporting him in his endeavors and a loving mother to their seven children: Ronda Griffin (Jim) of Payson, Utah; Becky Packer (Roy) of Lander, Wyoming; Roxan Fitzgerald (John) of Weston, Idaho; Greg Foote (Shelly) of Franklin, Idaho; Rosemary Alasti (Ali) of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; Rachelle Trout (Darren) of Kanab, Utah. She was preceded in death by her first born child Melvin David, who was stillborn.

Her legacy continues through 22 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren-each one touched by her enduring love and example.

Blanche will be remembered as a wonderful mother, wife, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend. Her life was one of quiet strength, unwavering faith, and boundless generosity.
