Blanche S. Hall passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, at the age of 93, in Vernon Hills, IL. She was born on April 19,1932, in Highland Park, IL and was formerly a longtime resident of Lake Bluff, IL.
Blanche earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education followed by a Master's Degree in Special Education, which paved the way for her lifelong commitment to teaching. Her career as an educator was marked by the countless lives she touched.
Surviving are her 3 children: John (Holly) Hall, David (Carol) Hall, and Kenneth (Christine) Hall; 6 grandchildren: Sailor, Joe, Andrew, Charlie, Scott and Jen; and 7 great-grandchildren: Arya, Everly, Jaxson, Colton, Ryder, Mason and Weston. She was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Robert G. Hall (d. 2006) and her loving companion Robert Andrus (d. 2025).
Blanche's spiritual life was as rich as her love for her family. She was an active member of the Union Church of Lake Bluff and later The Community Church of Lake Forest and Lake Bluff, where she found great solace and strength in her faith.
Blanche's zest for life was evident in her love for music, sailing, bridge, reading and travel. Each hobby was an avenue through which she connected with other others and shared her joyous spirit, making her a cherished friend to many.
She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, a dedicated teacher, and a friend to all. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide us and will forever illuminate the hearts of those she leaves behind.
The family wants to thank the caregivers at Caretenders Hospice and Brookdale of Vernon Hills for their excellent care of Blanche these past years.
Interment will be private at Forest Home Cemetery in Greenville, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Blanche's honor may be made to the donor's charity of choice.
