Blanche Dorothy Jozwiak, 88, of Alpena, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her children on May 25, 2024. She was born on August 6, 1935 to the late Agabitan “Cap” and Helen (Kaszubowski) Suszek, in Alpena, Michigan.

On July 25, 1953 Blanche married the love of her life Albin Jozwiak at St. Mary Catholic Church. Her vibrant spirit will forever be intertwined with the colorful blooms she nurtured.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Blanche's hobbies extended to sewing and crocheting. She poured her creativity into crafting numerous items, including barbie dolls and afghans, which she generously donated to those in need.

Blanche will be fondly remembered by her surviving family members: five children – Josie (Cameron) Cogsdill of Tennessee, Jon (Esra) Jozwiak of Alpena, Wanda (Elliott) Boyd of Colorado, Shelby (Dale) Hellonen of Commerce Township, Michigan, and Kirt (Kirtsy Baby) Jozwiak of Ohio; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers – David Suszek and Richard Suszek; two sisters – Joanna Filipiak and Diane (James) Blaski; sisters-in-law – Leona Suszek and Mary Suszek; brother-in-law Tim Wallace; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Blanche was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Albin, her daughter Debera Jozwiak, son Eric Jozwiak, grandson Alic Edgley, two brothers – Paul Suszek and James Suszek; two sisters – Sally Zdybel and Irene Wallace.

The memories of Blanche's loving nature will forever linger in the hearts of those she touched. Her legacy of generosity and warmth will continue to inspire all who knew her.
