Bo Shane Adams, 33, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on August 21, 2024.
Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 23, 2024, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Dr. G. A. Roach officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Bo was born in Amarillo, Texas on May 11, 1991, to Jan (Ritter) and John Adams. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 2010. He went on to study at Amarillo College where he studied Applied Science and Visual Arts.
Bo worked as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator.
Bo entered and left this world surrounded by people who loved him deeply. To know Bo was to love Bo. While he had many talents, his greatest gifts were a generous, kind heart and vivid imagination. His festive spirit and knack for storytelling left everyone he encountered in awe of his brilliant and creative mind. His passion for expression was evident in the genius of his art. Bo was an accomplished musician, brilliant songwriter, and exceptional guitarist. He was passionate about creating and playing music with his brother, Zach, and many friends. Bo was the lifeblood of the band he and his brother belonged to, In the Mind of Asterion. In addition to music, he was always passionate about history, language, science, and animals. He loved animals and cared for many throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Danny and Sandra Ritter; and grandmother, Laquetta Dinsmore.
He is survived by his mother, Jan Adams (Amarillo, TX); father and stepmom, John and Raquel Adams (Plano, TX); brother, Zach Adams (Amarillo, TX); grandfather, Gail Adams (Denver, CO); Uncle and Aunt, Tim and Mary Ritter (Coppell, TX); Uncle and Aunt, Mike and Christina Ritter (Amarillo, TX); step-sister, Jackie Richards (Amarillo, TX), step-brother, Nick Fernandez (Amarillo, TX), grandparents, Marvin and Kim Bender (Amarillo, TX); aunt, Angela Adams (Rockwall, TX); and cousins, Katie Ritter, Daniel Ritter, David Ritter, Ian Ritter, and Chloe Ritter.
