KEARNEY - Bob W. Davenport, 93, of Overton passed away Sunday, Oct.22, 2023 at Kearney Regional Medical Center. Bob was born Oct. 9, 1930, to Arnold and Esther (Schroeder) Davenport in Hebron.
Bob and Lillias Gehle married on July 16, 1952 in Stoddard.
Bob and Lillias were blessed with three children, Danny Lee, Konnie Kay and Tammy Jane.
Bob is survived by his daughters, Konnie (Kevin) Turner of Overton and Tammy Blankenship of Kearney; granddaughter, Emmy Raastad and fiancé Travis Long of Overton, Tucker Turner of Omaha, Brett Blankenship of Omaha, and Brock (Chloe) Blankenship of Hickman, Nebraska; great-grandchildren Kaven and Jorja Raastad of Overton, Titus and Asher Blankenship of Hickman; brother Ray (Sharon) Davenport of Belleville, Kansas; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife Lillias; son Danny; brothers Arnold, Jr., Gale and Allen; sister Vernetta Ruprecht and son-in-law Bruce Blankenship.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Overton United Methodist Church with Pastor Venedith Vargas, officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment with full military honors will be in Overton Cemetery.
