Bob DeKemper Obituary

Bob served in the United States Navy where he did two tours in Vietnam. He was a 1964 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. Bob retired in 2000 from the United States Postal Service in Altamont Springs, FL. He was a member of the Owen Dunn Post #5 and a life member of the VFW #1114 in Evansville. Bob loved his family and very much enjoyed playing cards.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Christine (Russell) DeKemper.
He is survived by his daughter, Amber Teal (Nathan); grandchildren, Cadence and Jake Teal; brother, Dennis DeKemper; nephews, Jason DeKemper, Brandon and Dustin Reineke; and niece, Cinda Lybarger.
Private services to be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #5, 203 Walnut St., Mt. Vernon, IN 47620.
