Robert Edward Lee, 80, of Spokane Valley, Washington, passed away on October 28, 2025, in Spokane. He was born on February 6, 1945, in Great Falls, Montana, to Robert Vernon and Zilpha Lenore (Wilcox) Lee.

Bob's childhood years were spent in Spokane prior to the family moving to California. He graduated from De Anza High School in El Sobrante, California. After high school, he proudly enlisted and served in the United States Air Force from 1963 to 1967, including service in the Vietnam War.

Bob was known for his craftsmanship and strong work ethic. After his military service, Bob worked for United Airlines in California as a mechanical liaison, where he helped repair and retrieve aircraft. Later, he moved to Spokane and worked at his father's business, Bob Lee Tile, eventually taking over ownership upon his father's retirement.

Bob married Laverna May Rounsville, on July 4, 1984, in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. They made Spokane Valley their home, where they shared 41 years of marriage filled with laughter, adventure, and family.

Bob lived life to the fullest and loved golfing, bowling, fishing, and camping. He enjoyed tinkering in his garage, listening to his favorite music on his old 8-track tapes and cassettes, and playing his guitar. He was also an avid fan of westerns and World War II movies. Bob and Laverna treasured their "geriatric trips" with his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, and he especially loved family game nights filled with cards, dominoes, and laughter. Above all, he loved to dance.

In his younger years, Bob performed with his parents in a musical group that traveled and played at various events. He had a wonderful sense of humor, a tender heart, and a deep love for gathering with his family.

Bob is survived by his wife, Laverna Lee; five sons, Michael Warner, Steven Warner, Artie Lee, Christopher Lee, and Joe Stickland; four daughters, Cindy Schwahn, Sheryl Powell, Donna Yocom, and Shari' Lee; two sisters, Linda Wolf and Sandi Gelner; ten grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Vernon and Zilpha Lenore Lee; his maternal grandparents, Guy and Mabel Wilcox; and his paternal grandparents, Roy and Elizabeth Lee.

Bob will be remembered for his love of family, his humor, his musical spirit, and the joy he brought to every gathering.

A viewing will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Hennessey Valley Funeral Home, 1315 N. Pines Road, Spokane Valley, WA 99206. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the same location. Interment will take place at 2:00 p.m. at Pines Cemetery, 1402 S. Pines Road, Spokane Valley, WA 99206.
