Bob Allen Males

Bob Allen Males, 85, of Amarillo, TX died Tuesday, December 19, 2023.
Private services will be held by the family.
Bob was born July 22, 1938, in Oklahoma City, OK to Earl and Vonda Males.
At the age of 16, he began working odd jobs in the oil fields. In the 1960's he moved to the Los Angeles area to work on drilling rigs. He met Sandra Fuller in 1968 and got married and lived in Ontario, CA. In 1978, he bought a backhoe, and they moved in 1981 to Borger, TX where he started Bob's Backhoe Service, and they raised their family. After 20 years in Borger, they moved to Grants Pass, OR where he drove RV's up and down the West Coast when folks needed them moved. Sandra passed away in October 2014, and Bob moved from Oregon to Amarillo in 2020 to be closer to family.
He also was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Vonda Males; a brother, Darrell Males; a sister, Jean Males; and a few dogs.
Survivors include his five children, Audrea Scroggins, and husband David, of Amarillo, TX, Randall Males, and Bobby Lynn Males, both of Moore, OK, David Farley and wife Blake, of Silver City, NM, and Richard Farley, of Taos, NM; 13 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
