Bob Parente Obituary
Bob was born in New Haven on December 11, 1954, the son of Ernest and Sylvia Arancio Parente. He was the beloved husband of Linda Faye Floyd Parente. In addition to Linda, Bob is survived by his daughters, Anissa Temple Smith, (Michael) Melissa Bianca Parente and Brittany Lee Parente, all of East Haven, and his grandchildren, Michael Smith, Jr., Mark and MacKenzie Smith and Logan Parente. He was predeceased by his son Ernest Brandon Parente.
Through the years, Bob served on the Inland and Wetland Commission, Board of Education, RTC, and was the retired Superintendent of Operations for the Town of East Haven. He was a member of the Rotary Club of East Haven and originated the very first Thanksgiving Give program which has continued.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday December 11th, 4:00-7:00 PM with service on Friday 11:00 – 12:00 at W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492.

Very sorry to hear of Bob´s passing. He was a good friend of the East Haven Historical Society. If we had a problem, Bob was right there to help us. He indeed will be missed and will be remembered with caring thoughts.
