February 2, 1940 - November 25, 2013 Robert Dale Vander Zwaag, age 73 of Holland went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, November 25, 2013 at his home. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Lois; children: Sandy and Roger Tanis of Holland, Donna and Jeff Sova of Holland, Jay and Deb Vander Zwaag of Holland, Karl and Connie Vander Zwaag of Holland, Brent and Brenda Vander Zwaag of Mishawaka, IN; grandchildren: Mark and Lisa Tanis, Mallory Tanis, Samantha Tanis, J. Paul and Jessica Wehrmeyer, Dustin and Katie Wehrmeyer, Erica and Hayden Moses, Nicole and Zach Harthun, Dani Vander Zwaag, Jamie Vander Zwaag, Katie Vander Zwaag, Addie Vander Zwaag, B.J. Vander Zwaag, Brianna Vander Zwaag; great grandchildren: Carter Wehrmeyer and Joel Robert Harthun; sisters: Betty and Bern Brunink and Marilyn and Rog Lindemulder of Holland; In-laws: Howard Lampen of Holland, Ruth and Ron Hertz of Zeeland, June and Gene Chrispell of Hamilton, Gord and Jo Ann Hoek of West Olive, Judy and Tony Kruithof of Pierson, MI, Glenn and Marilyn Hoek of Holland and many nieces and nephews. Bob was a member of Intersection Ministries (formerly Grace Community Church) where he served as a Cadet leader, youth group leader and for 30 years served as custodian. He was a salesman at Harvest Life Insurance Company until his retirement and was currently working at Agritek Industires. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Intersection Ministries, 945 136th Avenue, Holland, MI 49424. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in the fireside room at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland or the American Cancer Society. www.langelandsterenberg.com
