Bobbie Elaine Barnes

ELOY - Bobbie Elaine Barnes, 56, of Phoenix and formerly of Casa Grande, died Feb. 15, 2008 at Banner Baywood Medical Center. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel in Eloy. The funeral will follow at 11, with the Rev. Raymond Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park. Mrs. Barnes was born Oct. 13, 1951 in Florence. Her family had lived in the Casa Grande area since the 1930s. She graduated from Casa Grande Union High School in 1969. She was a bookkeeper and accountant. She also was a homemaker who loved to be around her family, especially the children. Survivors include her husband, Robert Kirby Barnes; a son, Val McClish Jr. of Tempe; three sisters, Nina Foster of Phoenix, Rena Thornhill of Hidden Valley and Laura Stevens of Bend, Ore.; three brothers, Dr. Richard E. Standridge of Mesa, Joe Davis of Phoenix and Nathan Davis of Casa Grande; and her stepfather, Ben Davis of Casa Grande. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Wanda Standridge Davis and Bob Standridge, and a son, Baby Jimmy.
