COOKEVILLE CHAPEL - Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, Bobbie Maurine Judd of Cookeville, TN passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 7, 2025 at the age of 89. She was born on April 4, 1936 in Baxter TN to the late Allie Mae Minton and Vernon Otto Minton.
Bobbie Maurine Judd was a devoted wife and mother, spending her life dedicated to her family. After graduating from Upperman High School, she worked for over 30 years at the Acme Boot Company. She will be remembered for her love of God and her family, her love for cooking, fishing with her husband and her beautiful flower gardens. She won many blue ribbons and silver trays at the Putnam County Fair over the years.
She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, David M Judd; her children, Brenda York of Cookeville TN and Marsha and Wayne Nixon of Magnolia TX; her grandchildren Jeromy York, Molly Nixon, Katie Dunn and Sarah Sides and her sibling, Margaret Walker.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two older brothers.
The family wants to thank all the caregivers from Gentiva and Silver Angels for the wonderful care that they provided. A special thanks to Kimberly and Kelsey.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday October 11 at 3:00 pm at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home with visitation prior to the service beginning at 1:00 until time of service. She will be laid to rest at Salem Cemetery.
