Bobbie Lee Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Funeral services followed by military rites will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Metropolis, IL, with Bro. Justin Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in Birdsville Cemetery in Livingston County, KY.
Bobbie was an Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He retired from Commercial Transport after 30 years as a mechanic. He was a life member of the VFW, and enjoyed reading the newspaper and watching Jeopardy while drinking coffee.
Bobbie is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joyce (Robinson) Lee; sons, Tom Adkins and wife Beth and Clyde Lee; grandchildren, Daniel Adkins and wife Christina, Alisa Adkins (Wesley Sullivant), Brittnie Littlemeyer and husband Jimmy, Summer Lee (Kamren Blanford), Faith Martin and Grace Martin; great grandchildren, Caden, Jase, Raylan, Evelyn, Jaden, Zoe, Paisley, Reece, and Lane; one sister, Marie Langston; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Jannie Lee and Jennifer Lee; twin brother, Robbie Lee; sister, Alice Hill; and two half-siblings, Mary Edna Gibson and Ralph McElmurry.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 14th at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.
Memorial contributions may be given in Bobbie's name to the charity of your choice. Condolences for the family may be left online at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Adkins, Caden Adkins, Jimmy Littlemeyer, Wesley Sullivant, Kamren Blanford and Pete Duley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jase Adkins, Reece Littlemeyer and Lane Blanford.
Arrangements are entrusted to Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home in Metropolis, IL.
