Bobbie Joe Maxwell

Bobbie Joe Maxwell, 86, of Anderson, passed away on January 8, 2024, at Rawlins House in Pendleton. He was born on February 4, 1937, in Huntsville, IN, the son of Archie and Sarah Maxwell.
Bobbie and his brother Frank started Maxwell's Trim Shop in Anderson in 1971 and operated it until his retirement in 2023.
He liked to fish, hunt mushrooms, and deer hunting. Bobbie also loved to take Sunday drives.
Bobbie was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Larry Maxwell, his grandson, Joseph Levi Maxwell, his brothers, Archie Maxwell, Jr., Marcus Maxwell, Frank Maxwell, and James Maxwell, and his sisters, Martina Fouse, and Betty Ellen Kessler.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Betty Maxwell; his children, Cindy Helms (Danny), Susan Maxwell (friend, Mark Grant), and Brenda Day (Tony); six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson; several nieces and nephews; and his special friend and co-worker, Erik Brooks.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2024, from 11:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. at Loose Funeral Homes and Crematory, 200 W. 53rd Street, Anderson, with funeral services at 2:00 P.M.
Burial will be in Huntsville Cemetery.
