Bobbie Jean "Maw Maw" Nathan

1946 - 2024

On September 27, 2024, Bobbie Jean Nathan our dearest mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and sister was carried gently into Jesus' arms to her last and heavenly home. We celebrate her with overwhelmed joy as she is now worshiping in GOD's glorious presence. Mom is now reunited with her husband Travis Nathan Sr. parents, Robert James & Earnestine Stewart, sons, Travis Jr & Mario Nathan, daughter: Tanita Nathan, granddaughter: Latoya Nathan, grandson: Randy Nathan, as well as with many family members and friends. Mom leaves to mourn children, daughters: Sheila Nathan, Adrian Nathan, Marketia Davis, Shannon Ferrand and Robin Nathan, son: Antonio Nathan, 32 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, one sister: Mary (Aunt Jean) Lenoir. Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service held in her honor on Saturday, October 12, 2024, for 11:00 a.m. at Gentilly Baptist Church, 5141 Franklin Ave. New Orleans, LA. 70122. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Jacques Williams, officiating. Interment will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at New Bethel United Methodist Church, 2322 McKenzie Road, Tylertown, MS 39667. Pastor Sherman Smith, officiating.
