Bobbie Schaeff Obituary
She was s preceded in death by her parents as well as her loving husband, Larry A. Schaeff, who she missed dearly until she left this earth to join him.
Bobbie is survived by her brother, John R. Vollmer (Penny) and her two cherished children, Kristin F. Ruffo and James W. Dawson, 3 grandchildren: Jake Ruffo, Ziyah and Ezra Dawson. Step-daughters Michelle L. Lucero (Warren) of Fairbanks, AK and Angela M. Collins of Corpus Christi, Tx.
Bobbie's mother, Faye, died when Bobbie was 9 years old, but God sent an angel to take over for her – Thelma Calliham Vollmer. Thelma loved and raised Bobbie and John as her own and guided them through their teenage and young adult years. In the beginning, she was "Thelma" but soon became their beloved "Mom."
Throughout her life Bobbie demonstrated love and patience as a daughter, a big sister, then as a wife, a mother and, finally, a proud grandmother.
In lieu of flowers, Bobbie's family asks that you donate to the Gulf Coast Humane Society or an animal shelter of your choosing.
