Bobbie J. Shadden, 88, a lifelong resident of Birchwood, TN passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Rhea Medical Center. She was born on January 15, 1936, a daughter of the late Eulas & Mary Burton. Bobbie and her husband were dairy farmers in the Birchwood Community all their lives. Bobbie was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed cooking, being outdoors and working in her yard. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandson Bradley and great grandson Connor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ruben "Cotton" Shadden and one sister Eula Mae Patterson. Bobbie leaves behind to cherish her memory, one daughter and son in law Lori and Greg Bacon, one grandson and his wife Bradley and Jessica Bacon, one great grandson Connor Bacon, two sisters in laws Shirley Shadden and Icyle Shadden, numerous other extend family members and a host of special friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening, September 22, 2024, in the original chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. A graveside service will take place Monday, September 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the McInturff Cemetery in Birchwood, TN with the Reverend Keith Watson officiating. The pallbearers will be Greg Bacon, Bradley Bacon, Jeff Shadden, Brent Shadden, "Bo" Shadden and Kenny Shadden. The honorary pallbearer will be her great grandson Connor Bacon.
