Bobby C. Autin

Bobby C. Autin, age 76, of Covington, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025. He was born on September 28, 1949, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Joseph Autin and Ruth Ella Marie Rials Autin.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 35 years, Elizabeth Frances Amos Autin; children, Bobby Conrad Autin II, Jason Michael Autin, Alexander Edwards Autin and his wife Rose Simoneaux Autin, Anna Autin Weilbaecher and her husband Wyatt Oswald Weilbaecher, and Avery Autin Smith and her husband Jacob William Smith; as well as his precious first grandchild, Alex and Rose's daughter, Genevieve Caillouet Autin. Bobby is also survived by his sister-in-law, Lynda Leigh Rich; brother-in-law, Harold "Bo" Amos; nephews, Aaron Elsea and Daniel Elsea and his wife Katie; and numerous other relatives and close friends.

Bobby was raised in Lafitte, Westwego, and Gretna, graduated West Jefferson High School, and attended Nicholls State University before founding Louisiana International Marine in 1974, a company he built alongside his father. Bobby was also an avid golfer, a sharp pool player, and a man who loved cooking and spending time at the beach with his family. He certainly had his own sense of style, including his purse, beret, and the largest private collection of "Life is Good" t-shirts. He could talk to anyone, anywhere, and usually with a story that got bigger every time he told it. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, Louisiana, with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in the adjacent Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
