Francis Ronald Bondio

Francis "Frank" Ronald Bondio, 63, passed away on Saturday January 31, 2026. The youngest of 6 children, Francis was born in New Orleans on August 8,1962 to Lauretta Audrey Bondio and the late Ronald Anthony Bondio. He was a graduate of East Jefferson High School's class of 1980 and attended classes at The University of New Orleans prior to getting married and welcoming his first born. He went on to live a life devoted to God and his family. He was an expert carpenter and highly skilled woodworker. He built a house for his family in Old Gretna where all four of his children came of age. He moved to Covington, LA in 2022 where he lived the remainder of his life. Francis was a kind and generous soul who befriended everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by his children Christina Marie Camp (spouse John Camp), Samantha Elizabeth Bondio, Melissa Lauren Chadwick (spouse Gordon Chadwick) and Mitchell Francis Bondio. Beloved brother of Anthony Bondio, Lynn Kabazi, Theresa Baldo, Beth Bateman, and Julia April. Cherished grandfather to Connor Bondio, Milo Gunter, Ethan Chadwick and Emma Chadwick.

Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home at 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans on Tuesday February 10th at 10 am followed by interment in St. Charles Cemetery, in Luling.
