Sandra R Kruse

Sandra Rutledge Kruse, age 79, of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026.

Sandra was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy in life was her family. She was the heart of her family-always present, always loving, and always putting those she loved before herself. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William J. Kruse; her mother, Marie David Rutledge; her father, Francis Rutledge, and her sister Judith Rutledge.

She is survived by her beloved son, William Kruse; her cherished grandson, Zachary Kruse (Stephanie); and her adored great-grandson, Clayton Kruse. She is also survived by her step-grandchildren, Kevin Berthelot, Matthew Berthelot, Ashton Dufrene, Cara Kruse, the late Phillip Kruse, and Jacob Sercovich, along with multiple step great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

Sandra's legacy lives on through the many lives she touched with her gentle spirit, generous heart, and deep love for her family.

A memorial service for Sandra will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, beginning at 11am, at Jacob Schoen Funeral Home located at 3827 Canal St. New Orleans, LA 70119. The family will receive friends from 930am until the time of the service.
