Bobby was described as one of the best men you could know. He had his family first in all he did. He was a loving husband of nearly 60 years, a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved the outdoors and hunting in his spare time. He enjoyed gardening, his cows, and farmed all his life. He was a selfless man who always put the needs of others before himself. Bobby's impact is deep and far-reaching to numerous families. He was a Christian and devoted Elder of Toomsuba Presbyterian Church.

His brother, Billy Barrett (Velma), as well as a host of extended family members and friends.
Mr. Barrett is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Barrett; his son, Mark Barrett; his parents, Garnette and Henry Barrett.
Pallbearers will be Shane Boatner, Ethan Boatner, Steve Barrett, Kyle White, Justin Ward, James Shelby, and Jeff Davis with Frank Shannon, Robin Jones, Jack Rhaley, Harvey Swearingen, Billy Stuckey, and John "Buddy" Tate serving as Honorary Pallbearers.
