Bobby Wayne Bevis, born on February 14, 1948, in Walnut Grove, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his home on January 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Bobby is survived by his devoted wife of over 20 years, Cathy Clement Bevis; his son Jerry Bevis and wife Michelle; his daughter Charlotte Sturgis; grandsons Ethan Bevis and wife Amber, Mason Bevis and wife Dakota, Andrew Sturgis, and Joshua Sturgis and wife Annie; great-grandsons Logan Littrell and Matt Lewis; great-granddaughter Ava Bevis; his brother Ray Bevis and wife Sue; sisters Helen Qualls, Wilma Brown, and Kathy Lard and husband Ralph; as well as a host of cherished nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Willard and Florence Leona Michael Bevis; brothers Willard Junior and Charles Edward Bevis; sister Margie Dell Bevis; son-in-law Roger Gordon Sturgis; and other beloved family members.

Bobby dedicated many years of hard work as a Maintenance Technician for Whirlpool Corporation and later as a custodian at Rockvale Middle School. A man of faith, he was a Christian and active member of Corner Stone Free Will Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, where he found joy in worship and fellowship. He enjoyed helping his son, Jerry, on his farm. Bobby loved spending time with his family and playing with his great granddaughter, Ava.

Bobby's life was marked by love for his family, dedication to his work, and steadfast faith. He will be missed tremendously by all those whose love him, but never forgotten.
