Bobby J Blake

Bobby J Blake was born December 31, 1974 in Biloxi, MS to Bobby Lee Blake and Mary (Blake) Spencer. He was a resident of the Hickory Hill Community in the City of Gautier, MS. Anyone who knew Bobby's name knew he was a competitive pool player. Bobby was humble about his talent on the pool table, but a fiercely skilled shot. He worked weekends repairing pool tables all along the Mississippi Gulf Coast for local establishments and private owners alike. He took great pride in his ability to make older tables play like new again. He also worked on and off for many years at Ingalls Ship Building in Pascagoula, MS as a shipfitter and a welder. Bobby enjoyed traveling to places like Key West, Florida and Niagara Falls. He dreamed of going on a honeymoon cruise with his wife, Katy, next year to the Caribbean Islands. Bobby Blake passed away, Thursday, October 16, 2025 in Pascagoula, MS at the age of 50.

Bobby is survived by the love of his life, his wife: Kathryn "Katy" Blake; his sons: Tyler Blake and Zachary Blake; his father: Bobby Lee (Benita) Blake; his sister: Maegen Blake; his bonus children: Easton Lange and Dayna Taylor; and many friends.

At Bobby's request, there will be a Celebration of Life Pool Tournament in his honor, at a place and time to be announced later.
