Bobby Campbell, age 67, of Tryon, passed away at his residence on Monday, December 30, 2024.
Bobby was born on Sunday, June 12, 1957, in Rutherford County, to Eunice Street Campbell, and the late Gerald Allen Campbell Sr. He was a graduate of East Rutherford High School in 1975, and later received an associate’s degree from Isothermal Community College. Bobby was a member of the Biltmore Church in Asheville and was retired from Campbell’s Home Improvement where he worked with his brother. In his younger years, Bobby worked as a Lifeguard in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He enjoyed watching football, hiking, and tinkering with electronics.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Campbell and Richard Campbell.
Besides his mother, those left to cherish his memories are his wife of thirty-eight years, Susan Jackson Campbell, of the home; sons, Shawn Campbell (Melissa), of Murphy, NC, and Brian Campbell, of the home; grandchildren, Nathan and Lindy Campbell; siblings, Diane Trotter (Bryan), Mickey Campbell, Daniel Campbell, Teresa Lane (Brian), and Margie Spake (Tony); and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Memorial Service will be private for the family.
