Bobby Cochran Obituary
Bobby Eldridge Cochran, age 66, with heavy hearts we announce his passing on March 18, 2026. A beloved husband, devoted father, proud papaw, and faithful servant of the Lord, who went home to be with Jesus after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
He is preceded in death by his son, Joshua F. Hood; mother and father, Edward and Jane Cochran; and siblings, Timmy Cochran and Sarah Lawson. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Rose Cochran; son, Jamie (Ashley) Cochran; daughter, Jade (Sam) Melecosky; and six grandchildren, Dillon, Autumn and Lila Hood, Tanner Green, Corbin Cochran, and Barrett Melecosky.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2026 at Green Acres Baptist Church with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Derrick Mitchell officiating. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Rutledge Pike Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Cochran, Dillon Hood, Tanner Green, Darrell McKinney, Sammy Dyer, Sam Melecosky. Honorary pallbearer will be Corbin Cochran.
