Robert Thomas Williams, age 76 of Morristown, TN, went to his Heavenly Home at 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at Serenity House. He was born in Morristown on March 20, 1949 to Ervin and Marie Williford Williams. He was a member of Blue Springs Church of God and worked at Berkline and Universal Furniture.
He is preceded in death by his infant son, Michael Williams; parents; sister and brother-in-law, Pauline and Doug Hall; niece and husband, Tammy and Wayne McGinnis; nephews, Joe and Eddie Keith; grandpup, “Lilly”; and aunt and uncle, Minnie and Leonard Singleton. He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Southerland; son, Mark Williams; son, David (Belinda) Williams; mother of his children and friend, Pat Williams; grandsons, Kyle (Savannah) Adams and Collin Williams; great grandson, Ryder Adams; great nieces, Ashley and Brittany Hall; great nephew, Alan Hall; cousin, Lucille Black, and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m until 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Blue Springs Church of God with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Josh Smith, Rev. Nick Keene, and Rev. Addison Hauri officiating. Graveside interment will follow at Blue Springs Church of God Cemetery.
The family would like to thank his many doctors and their staff with a special thank you to the Hanna Cancer Center, U.T. Hospital, U.T. Hospice and the Serenity House.
Pallbearers will be, David and Mark Williams, Kyle Adams, Collin Williams, Ryder Adams, Stephen Ballard, Caleb Cooper, and Jacob Cooper.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials donations be made to Serenity House of Morristown, https://hospicefriends.org/ or to Sabaneta Orphanage, https://www.sabanetaorphanage.org/
