Bobby Watts Coe

Smithfield, NC: Mr. Bobby Watts Coe, age 88, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025 at his residence. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00PM-Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Corinth Methodist Church. Rev. Bill Spencer, and Rev. Ganius Sikes will officiate.

Mr. Coe was born in Durham County, NC, to the late Ernest Bunyan Coe and Ludie Gaynell Overman Coe. He retired from the Johnston County Tax Administration, as a Deputy Tax Collector. He loved to play golf, flying, and loved his God, and family. Mr. Coe was a member of Corinth Methodist Church, Four Oaks, NC. He will always be remembered by his church family for sitting on the back pew, and would welcome anyone who came into the church.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Carolyn Lee Coe; daughter, Debbie Coe Forster, and husband, Bill; granddaughter, Amanda Johnson and husband, Nate; great-grandchildren, Caroline Johnson and Liam Johnson, brothers, Roy Coe and wife, Carolyn, Donald Coe, George Coe, and a sister, Wanda Rudd; many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the church.
