Bobby Earl Counts, Sr. passed away peacefully on Monday, October 28, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on December 30, 1939, Bobby lived a full life marked by hard work and a passion for the joys that shaped his character.
As a devoted carpenter, Bobby dedicated his professional life to the craft, showcasing his skill and commitment to quality in every project he undertook. His handiwork will be remembered by many, a testament to his diligence and pride in his work.
In his younger years, Bobby embraced life with enthusiasm, enjoying activities that brought him joy and adventure. He liked riding four-wheelers, golfing and bowling, always creating lasting memories. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joanna Counts; son, Charles Counts; and his brother and sisters.
Survivors include: his son, Bobby Counts, Jr. (Suzanne) of Guyton; daughter, Elizabeth Counts; grandchildren: Jennifer, Stephanie, Rebecca, Chad, Cody, and Cole; and a number of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home on Thursday, October 31, 2024, from 6-8pm.
