Bobby Alan Crumm, 75 of Axtell, Neb., passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025, at CHI Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2025, at O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Condolences may be shared online at www.osrfh.com. Services are entrusted to O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral and Cremation Services.
Bobby was born May 31, 1949, in Oklahoma, to Ira C. and Ella Mae (Trivitt) Crumm. He was united in marriage to Susan Schmitz in Kearney, Neb. The marriage was blessed with two sons. The couple made their home in Axtell, Neb. Bobby was a long-time employee of Coleman's Powermate where he was a model maker for over 35 years. He later worked at Pioneer's Village in maintenance.
Bobby enjoyed fishing, camping, cars, metal detecting and antiquing. He was a member of the Kearney Eagle's Club.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sue Crumm of Axtell; sons, Mark Crumm of Kearney and Scott Crumm of Axtell; grandchildren, David (Kelsey) Capps, Josh Capps and Colton (Kiarra) Crumm; 3 brothers; 5 sisters; as well as many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and other extended family and friends.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Doug and Donnie.
