He was predeceased by his loving wife Rhoda Evans and his daughter Yoalanda Evans.
He leaves behind his daughters Yvette Goins, Rosetta Jones, Regina Goins, and his son Sean
Evans (Megan Clark). He leaves behind grandchildren Christine Degbor, Joshua Sparks, Angel
Sparks, Christopher Sparks Jr, Whitney Jones, Britney Davison (Jerron) Michellae Mahaffey,
Erica Brooks, Tanayah Goudeau, Sydney Gabriel, Averie Evans, Kennady Evans and Harper
Evans.
He also had many great grandchildren that he enjoyed hearing stories about and visiting with.
Bobby leaves behind sisters and brother Betsy Wilson, Josephine Gibson, Christine Evans,
Debbie Evans and Wilbert Evans. He was predeceased by sisters and brothers Joann Dunn, Mary
Perry, Hurley Evans, Vance Evans, Lee Evans and Wilbur Evans.
Bobby also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bobby worked for the city of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power for 35 years. He
retired and moved to North Carolina in 1995. He enjoyed spending time with his family and
friends telling stories and reminiscing. Always remember Bobby answering a question with a
question: Is an elephant heavy?
Honoring Bobby's wishes there will not be an immediate service, a memorial will be held at a
future date to be determined.
