Bobby J. Gwin, Sr. 91, of Cabot passed away September 20, 2025. He was born June 11, 1934 the youngest of six children born to Herman Gwin and Lydia Duncan Gwin. He retired from Franklin Electric after over 30 years. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and Manning Hunting Club.
He was preceded in death by 4 sisters and a brother.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Daphna DeVore Gwin; son, Bobby J. Gwin, Jr; two special nieces: Lisa Gwin Schichtl and Kimberly Jebb; a host of nieces; great-nieces, great-great nieces and nephews, great-nephews, and great-great-nephews; and many friends.
A graveside service will begin at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Sumner Cemetery, Cabot. Viewing will begin 30 minutes prior to the service.
