Bobby Gene Henderson

Mr. Bobby Gene "Doc" Henderson, age 89, of 1817 Jonesville Hwy., Union, widower of Juline Seay Henderson, passed away, Friday, October 24, 2025 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Center.
Mr. Henderson was born July 24, 1936 in Union, a son of the late Leo B. Henderson and Viola Rivers Henderson. He was a graduate of Union High School and attended Cecil Business College. Mr. Henderson retired from the Union County School District Maintenance Department and had worked at Cudd Metalworks Heating and Air. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and the South Carolina National Guard. Mr. Henderson was a member of American Legion Post 129 Jonesville.
Surviving are three children, Leslie H. Parris and husband Scott of Jonesville, Bobby Henderson, Jr. of North Myrtle Beach and Tim Henderson and wife Deborah of Jonesville; four grandchildren, Laura Parris, Leigh Parris, Tucker Henderson, and Blaine Gonzalez; and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by five brothers and one sister.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Jonesville Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Randy Burgess and Rev. Robert Scott.
Active pallbearers will be Doran Eaves, Rickey McKinney, Lynn Blackwell, Brad Parris, Jeff Henderson, and Mike Henderson.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM prior to the services at Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel.

The family is at the home of his son, Tim and Deborah Henderson, 132 Park Drive, Jonesville, SC 29353.
