Bobby Joe Hurt, 30 beloved son, was called to his eternal resting place on June 8, 2024. He entered this world on November 13, 1993, in Sapulpa, OK, born to Bobby and Christy Hurt.

Bobby was a larger-than-life figure, known for his love of riding his Harley, spending time with his sons, and family game nights. He attended Beggs Public Schools and began his journey in the rodeo world early, buying his first bull at the age of 10. Bobby's passions included bull riding, working on his motorcycle, and fishing.

Bobby was outgoing and always laughing, yet he was also known for his hardheaded and strong-willed nature. A member of the Mixtecas motorcycle club, he earned the nickname "Tyson." He graduated from OTC Welding School and later worked in the HVAC industry. Bobby was bighearted and generous, always ready to lend a helping hand.

Bobby was preceded in death by Papa Larry Davis, Nanny Patsy Owens, Papa Bob Hurt, Grandma Mona Hurt, Stepdad Steven Brumley, Uncle Ronnie Riley, Uncle Norman Cook, Brother Shawn Davis, Cousin Austin, and Avery Davis.

He is survived by his parents, Christy Suzette Brumley of Sapulpa, Bobby Hurt Jr. and his wife Angie of Mounds, Ronnie Davis of California, and Brian Hurt of Beggs. He leaves behind his cherished sons, Luke Hurt and Cole Peterson, and his sisters, Shelly Hurt of Mounds and Sandra Shaffer of Beggs. Bobby's honorary brothers include Jaden Owens, Casey Westfall, Gage Owens, Kyler Owens, Gage Lawrence, Keko Contu, Crystal Contu, Dwight Whinery, and Edward Parker. His honorary sisters are Kara Edwards, Amanda Bliss, Trisha Sexson, and Jessica Armstrong. Bobby is also survived by his uncles, Tommy Owens and his wife Leslie of Kellyville, Guy Davis and his wife Dee of Glenpool, and Shawn Davis and his wife Brandie of Kellyville, Uncle Woody and his wife Jana Hurt of Mounds, Uncle Mike Hurt of Mounds, and his Aunt Kathy of Mounds.
