David Roe passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the age of 73 due to complications with Parkinson's.

David Roe was born on July 4, 1952, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Carroll and Betty (Dawson) Roe. He grew up with a strong work ethic and a talent for building that would shape both his career and the way he lived his life. David spent many years working as a skilled carpenter-first as a trim carpenter, then as a house builder and contractor. His craftsmanship was evident in everything he touched, and he took great pride in creating spaces that others would call home. Alongside him was his wife, JoAnne, whose eye for design perfectly complemented David's talent for construction, making them a remarkable team.

Later in his career, David served as a project manager for Warrenton Oil in Truesdale, Missouri, where his leadership, experience, and attention to detail earned him the respect of colleagues and friends alike.

David met the love of his life, Jo Anne Lowe, and together they built a life centered on love, partnership, and family. He will be remembered as a man who was incredibly skilled with his hands, dedicated to his work, and deeply committed to those he loved.

David's generosity knew no boundaries. He was not only generous in life, but also in death as he donated his brain to the Parkinson's Foundation. David wanted to be able to help scientists to better understand how to prevent, diagnose, treat and cure brain disorders, like Parkinson's.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carroll and Betty Roe; beloved daughter Tina Roe; and his fury companion, Lacy.

David leaves behind many cherished memories with his loving family, including his wife, Jo Anne; his son, Brian Roe and wife Penny; his four grandchildren, Patrick Gordan, Chelsie Hayworth, Tanner Matthews, Tyler Taylor and wife Brentlee; his two great grandchildren, Tinsley Hayworth and Gus Hayworth; Brother Glen Roe and wife Julie; Sister Betty Cookie Rice and husband Lowell; Brother Rick Roe, as well as many other relatives and a host of friends who will miss him dearly.
