Robert Wayne Roe, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday March 12, 2026. Born on December 11, 1959, in Flint, Michigan, to Eugene and Sharon (Kidder) Roe, Bob lived a life marked by passion, dedication, and a strong sense of family.

Bob’s work as a freelance welder reflected his skill and craftsmanship, a testament to his hardworking nature. Beyond his professional life, he was part of the Scorpions Motorcycle Club, embracing the camaraderie and thrill that came with being part of this tight-knit group. Riding his cherished 2000 Harley Sportster was one of his greatest pleasures, a hobby he enjoyed alongside tinkering in his garage, shooting his handguns, fishing, and hunting. These interests showcased not only his adventurous spirit but also his connection to the outdoors and hands-on activities.

Known for his commanding personality and a tendency to tell everyone what to do, Bob’s presence was strong and unmistakable. Yet, those who knew him well treasured his time spent with his grandchildren, creating memories that his family will hold dear for generations. The joy he found in these moments reflected the deep love and pride he had in his family.

Bob’s proudest accomplishment was his marriage on August 18, 1988, a milestone that defined much of his personal happiness. He leaves behind his beloved wife Brenda Roe, children Michael (Samantha) Nichols, Alisha (Jeffery) DeWitt, Summer Roe, and Rachel (Jimmy) VanWormer. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren Aiden, Ryleigh, and Megan Nichols; Damean, Alexis, Brody, and Carah Rushing; Zayvier, Trezdyn, and Azralyn DeWitt; and Erica and Zachary VanWormer. Notably, his faithful dog Tator was also a cherished member of his family.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Sharon Roe, and his brother Eugene Roe. Their memories remain an enduring part of his story and life’s journey.

As family and friends reflect on Bob’s life, they remember a man who embraced his passions with vigor, loved his family wholeheartedly, and left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit lives on in the stories shared, the lessons imparted, and the bonds he helped to forge.

Robert Wayne "Bob" Roe will be deeply missed and forever honored by those who loved him.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
