Bobby Johnson, age 48, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Johnson City Medical Center. He was born April 20, 1977 to Belinda Johnson and the late Lloyd Johnson. In addition to his father, Bobby was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest and Betty Icenhour, and Earl and Lucille Johnson.
Bobby was one of the kindest people you could ever meet. He was caring, giving, and had a huge heart. Bobby enjoyed boating and going to casinos.
Those left to cherish his memories include his mother, Belinda Johnson (Gene); sister, Susan Johnson (husband, Lee Luchini); nephew, Charles Johnson (Rachel) and their children, Owen, Ellie, and Amelia; aunts and uncles, Daris Icenhour Gibson (Bill), Hazel South (James), Linda Harper (the late Dean), Angie Edmisten (Steve), and Missy Hightower (David); special cousins, Timothy Icenhour, Chad Icenhour, and Shannon Harper; best friend, Tim Horn; his baby girl, Bralyn; many other cousins, family members, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 - 4:00 on Friday, February 13, 2026 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Preachers Charles Johnson and Micah Clark officiating. The burial will follow from Phillippi Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lee Luchini, Charles Johnson, Micah Clark, Joe Johnson, Ethan Hightower, and Matthew Hightower. Honorary pallbearers are John Heaton and Tim Horn.
