Bobby Lynn Klopping, passed away on September 24, 2024, in Bonnerdale, Arkansas, at the age of 75. Born on July 12, 1949, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Bobby's spirit and warmth left an indelible mark on those who knew him.
Bobby enjoyed a fulfilling career as a truck driver, traversing the length and breadth of the country, embracing the freedom of the open road. He found joy in exploring new places and relished trying different BBQ restaurants wherever his travels took him. His outgoing personality earned him countless friends along the way; he was a man who never met a stranger and had the unique ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
Family was central to Bobby's life. He treasured the time spent with his daughters, Christy Lynn (Terry) Suit, Crystal (Michael) Ferry, and Heather (Curtis) Gray, creating countless memories that will remain in their hearts forever. As a loving brother, he is survived by his siblings, Pam Burffington and Delynn (Connie) Klopping; grandchildren, Brian, Nick, Ethan, Robert-Austin, Timothy, Kirtlynn, Aubrey, Michael Blake, and Bryan. He was also blessed with six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Calvin Klopping; mother, Floy Nadine Woodall-Klopping; and brother, Douglas Lynn Klopping.
Bobby also had a passion for riding his Harley Davidson, which he viewed not merely as a mode of transport, but as a vessel for adventure and freedom. He embraced life with open arms, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and love that will resonate with his family and friends.
A visitation will be held on October 3, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home in Hot Springs, Arkansas, located at 2205 Airport Road. Following this, a funeral service will take place on October 4, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Bobby Klopping's life was a reflection of kindness, humor, and a zest for living. He will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
