Bobby Gene Mack, Sr, 81, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2 pm on Friday, July 26, 2024, at St. Andrew Methodist Church with Dr. Scott A. Neel and Pastor Dwight Kirksey officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the auspices of Billy Dixon Masonic Lodge #1369. Services are entrusted to Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Thursday, July 25, 2024, at the funeral home in Fritch. In lieu of flowers his memory may be honored with a gift to the Scottish Rite Hospital, Development Department Scottish Rite for Children, 2222 Welborn Street, Dallas, Texas, 75219.
Bobby was born August 21, 1942, in Choctaw County, Oklahoma to Leroy Mack and Josephine Salmon Mack. He was a 1960 graduate of Borger High School. Bobby married the love of his life, Frances Lindsey, on August 21, 1961, at Stinnett Methodist Church. He retired from Pantex as a production section manager. Bobby enjoyed camping in his tin tent, traveling, hunting, and fishing. Nothing brought more joy to his life than his family. He was a member of St. Andrew Methodist Church and Billy Dixon Lodge #1369.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Josephine Mack; and brothers, Archie Lee Mack and Charles Mack.
Survivors include his wife, Frances; sons, Bobby Mack, Jr. and wife LaDawna, Donald “Donny” Mack and wife Michaele, James Mack and wife Sarah; grandchildren, Bobby “Trey” Mack, III, and wife Courtnee, Lindsey Butt and husband Zach, Allyssa Howe and husband David, Clint Mack and wife Naomi, Cody Mack and wife Kayleigh, Wesley Mack and fiancé Nikkole; great grandchildren, David Heard, Braxton Butt, Brennan Butt, Andrew Butt, Jewel Mack, Wyatt Watson, Beckett Mack, Jerry Mack, Eden Howe, a great grandchild on the way; brother, Ricky Mack and wife Linda; sister, Shirley Lester; and a host of extended family.
